Scott E. Hormel, M.D.
Dr. Hormel is an orthopedic surgeon with subspecialty training in knee and shoulder surgery. His practice is focused on the surgical treatment of injuries and sports-related conditions of the knee and shoulder. His goal is to return athletes and recreational athletics back to full athletic participation using both surgical and rehabilitative methods.
Dr. Hormel is a native of Bellevue, Washington. He has practiced for over 15 years with Orthopedic Physician Associates. He and his wife Shari have 4 children. He enjoys skiing, golf, woodworking and architecture. Dr. Hormel stays very active and involved in baseball and fast-pitch softball, coaching and helping to prevent and repair athletic injuries.
Dr. Hormel’s expertise is in: Knee and shoulder arthroscopy and reconstruction, sports injuries, knee replacements, cartilage regeneration and meniscal preservation.
