About

Dr. Holland is a board certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in issues related to the knee and shoulder. His practice includes a wide range of options to patients from pediatric to geriatric, although he is mostly known for serving the Seahawks, Mariners and former Seattle Supersonics. Having come to orthopedics by way of an engineering background, his approaches are best described as exacting. Dr. Holland has taken care of patients that have ranged from professional athletes to earthquake victims in the former Soviet Union, making him a highly versatile and knowledgeable physician. He looks forward to helping you with your orthopedic issues whether it is from being a weekend warrior or that unfortunate mishap at work.

Dr. Holland enjoys golf, fitness, astronomy, electronics, photography and fine dining.

Dr. Holland is the best on the west coast. He did a fantastic job on my knee a few years ago and this time with my shoulder it's no different. He knows what he's talking about and that's very apparent at every stage. He is extremely friendly and personable and takes time to explain everything. Dr. Holland and OPA Staff, Thanks for the excellent work you all have done for my shoulder (left rotator cuff tear). If my recent surgeries taught me one lesson, it is that not all orthopedic physicians and not all care facilities are alike. Dr. Holland is the best. I felt my shoulder was in capable hands from right from the first meeting. The OPA team was always helpful, professional, and competent. The shoulder Dr. Holland operated on last January is now my “good shoulder”. The other shoulder, well, maybe I will have to see you all again.

It is impressive what a good listener Dr. Holland is! When I answered his questions about the pain in my leg, he ordered two exams to rule out possibilities and discovering from the exams that I not only hada loose total knee replacement but also a herniated disc. To me, this is remarkable! Before he ordered these exams I didn't tell him that I had a traumatic fall months before, but once I did he determined that was why my prothesis had come loose. He is SO knowledgeable that his assurance of his ability to fix my leg is invaluable to my peace of mind! His amazing skills should be acknowledged by our entire community!
